The Jiangmen Directional Cross-Country Event is at the starting point of the famous Gudou Hot Spring Resort, Jiangmen City of South China's Guangdong Province on Saturday (Sep. 18th), highlighting the start episode of the Fourth (2004) China Overseas Chinese Hometown (Jiangmen) Tourist Festival.
Some ten expedition teams from nine cities and regions over the province, such as Jiangmen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, heat up the race, it mainly features the directional cross-country sports and other ultimate sports like rock-climbing, river-tracing and canoeing.
The tourist festival, to be unveiled on Oct. 17th, packs a series of activities such as the Chinese Carnival Parade, the first Overseas Chinese Forum, Guangdong traditional wedding style on sailing ship, Jiangmen city mass touring, source releases.
