The biggest soup pot in the world has recently been made in Shunde District in Foshan, Guangdong Province, Foshan Daily reported.
The huge porcelain container is 1.4 metres high and 1.1 metres wide. The pot will be able to offer soup to 5,000 people at a time when soup is cooked in it.
The pot will be put into use during the China Chef Festival, which opens in Shunde District on October 20.
