The Chencun's Guo tong logistics center in Foshan, the 1st agricultural logistics base in China, started operations yesterday (August 9). The Guotong logistics center covers an area of 1.5 million square meters. The total investment of the Logistics City reached 1 billion RMB. The first phase of construction has been completed and the facilities are up and running, providing a number of logistics services. Agricultural exports have grown dramatically in recent years, and Chencun Flower World alone exports an average of 15 thousand containers annually. Both the government and industry expect the new logistics center to strengthen the industry's international competitiveness.
