PMETAL, one of the Southeast Asia's biggest press aluminums manufacturer from Malaysia, launched a factory in Sanshui recently, which aims to take up 5% of China's al product market and become the fifth largest aluminum factory in the world in 2010.
It is PMETAL's first oversea factory, and will be specialized in manufacturing IT aluminums, foam al for autos and wall aluminums. Half of its products will be exported to foreign markets.
A senior stuff of PMETAL says, 'By 2010, the factory in china can produce 150,000 tons of al products annually, and PMETAL will become one of the largest al product manufacturers in the world.' He also mentioned that PMETAL launched Sanshui project because of its strategy to enter Chinese market and the city's good location as well as the quality service the local government provides.
Source reveals, PMETAL is the eighth enterprises from Malaysia settled down in Sanshui last year. Currently Malaysian businessman has input over USD 200 mln capital launching auto parts and al product projects in Sanshui. In 2005, the city plans to build an industrial park for enterprises from Southeast Asia.
