The eastern area is designated by the state as new material industrial base under the State Torch Project, with its priority on new biomedicine materials, organic macromolecule materials, dopes and special-type chemicals, optic-electronic information materials special-type ceramic materials, dopes and special-type chemicals, optic-electronic information materials, high-performance, metal materials, etc. Priorities for the Park's west area are electronic information, home appliances, metal products, refined chemicals, machinery manufacturing, etc.
