China has announced the minimum hourly-wage standard in its 29 provinces and autonomous regions excluding Guangdong and Xinjiang, according to sources with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security(MLSS).
All provinces and autonomous regions in China has so far issued their least monthly-payment standards, said MLSS.
According to the Ministry, Shenzhen, the economic powerhouse in southern China tops the standard list, the monthly minimum payment standing at 810 yuan(102.5 U.S.dollars), while Beijing ranks first in terms of hourly-pay of 7.9 yuan.
The inland province of Jiangxi stays at the bottom, with the lowest 270 yuan every month, and 2.7 yuan per hour.
