[Shenzhen] Pipeline gas prices increases 6.8%
Latest Updated by 2005-11-07 11:33:27

The price of pipeline liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for households in Shenzhen will rise 6.8 percent from 13.3 yuan (US$1.66) each cubic meter to 14.2 yuan from this month, the Shenzhen Gas Group said Friday.

For industrial and commercial users, the price will increase from 16.3 to 16.6 yuan.

The company said higher international oil prices were the reason for the price increase.

The company last increased the pipeline LPG prices in August this year, and that in turn followed an increase in October 2004 when the company raised the gas price by one yuan a cubic meter for resident users.
