  • Senior Chinese leaders stress World Expo, Asian Games experience in anti-graft fight

    China's anti-corruption chief, He Guoqiang, on Wednesday called on relevant parties to step up their fight against corruption by drawing on experience from organizing the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou.

  • Asian Games venues to be open to public, free of charge

    During the Asian Games and Para Games from Nov. 11th to Dec. 20th, thirteen non-Asian-Games public sports venues were open free to Guangzhou citizens, with the number of entrants amounting to 320,000 people on a cumulative basis and the service time reaching 8,483 hours.

  • Ten Asian Games metro volunteers listed as inspirational volunteers

    On Dec. 28th, in the awarding ceremony of Asian Games metro volunteer groups and individuals, ten institutions of higher education were granted the honor of "Model Volunteer Groups", and ten outstanding volunteers were listed as "Inspirational Volunteers".
