• Asian Games Torch Relay to have more than 2,000 torchbearers 2010-04-22
The 16th Asian Games, part of the worldwide Olympic movement and governed by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will have 2,010 individuals serving as torchbearers for its Torch Relay, which will take place within Guangdong Province.

On April 14 and 16, the quarter-finals of the 5th Air Hostess Contest TV show sponsored by China Southern Airlines, a Partner of the 16th Asian Games, opened in Changsha and Shanghai respectively.

The Opening Ceremony of 16th Asian Games will be held in Haixinsha, Guangzhou on November 12, 2010. Only 5000 tickets of the party will be sold to the public from mid or late June. The date is not set yet.
