Litchi culture festival opens - Biz Events

A litchi culture festival opened at Xiangxue Park in Guangzhou's Luogang District this morning (July 5). Apart from art performances and litchi tasting, one of the biggest attractions is an old litchi tree with a history of 1000 years in the park.

The tree still can produce litchi fruit almost every year. Luogang District also has some other litchi trees 300 or 400 years old and hence is called the Chinese town of litchi longevity.
