Investment

Hong Kong is the biggest trade partner of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. A total of 5455 Enterprises in the three forms of ventures from Hong Kong had been set up in the region by the end of 2003; investment and trade projects involving 7.3 billion US dollars had been contracted, with about 3.5 billion US dollars actually utilized foreign investment, accounting for 66%, 52%, and 45% of those FDI index of the region respectively.
