CEPA boost HK expand input in SZ service sector

After the implementation of CEPA on Jan 1st this year, Hong Kong investors increase their input in Shenzhen service industry by a large margin, especially in the renting and business service.

Statistics show in the first quarter this year, two CEPA projects in Shenzhen has won approval of State Ministry of Commerce and Hong Kong investment in renting and business service totals 123 mln USD or 30.1% of the foreign direct investment (FDI) in tertiary industry.

In the first three month this year, Shenzhen has 582 FDI projects, with 855 mln USD involved, up 32.6% and 19.5% respectively.
