The rescuing work after Typhoon Dujuan is still going on. The once lost 5 people have been found and rescued. Up till 22:00 last night, this typhoon has claimed 38 lives in Guangdong province.

Within these 38 lives, 20 from Shenzhen, 9 from Huizhou, 2 from Guangzhou, 1 from Shantou, 3 from Shanwei, 3 from Dongguan.

Governments have taken prompt measures to protect the public. In Jiangmen, Zhuhai, Huizhou and Shanwei, a total of 92,718 people has been transferred to secured places and 23 fishmen were rescued.
