Gastronomic event sharing authentic French cuisines held in Guangzhou

On the evening of October 22, French Ambassador to China Laurent Bili and Consul General of France in Guangzhou Sylvain Fourriere showed up at a French restaurant in Guangzhou’s Party Pier to participate in the final feast of “Good France”, a French-style gastronomic event. The soiree offered guests a variety of authentic French meals with an opportunity to taste an array of exquisite snacks prepared by Greg Louraichi, a chef who has been awarded Michelin honors for three consecutive years.

The 6th edition of "Good France" was held from October 14 to 22, 2021, allowing food lovers in Guangzhou to taste authentic French delicacies. Two restaurants from Guangzhou, namely Park Hyatt and Sofitel Guangzhou created their own “French-style” meals, including a starter, a main course, cheese and a dessert, accompanied by French wines and champagnes. Among them, Park Hyatt highlighted its roasted Boston lobster and Pascal Jolivet Sancerre, while Sofitel featured its Pan-fried Foie Gras, French Lobster Bisque and Charcoal Grill Australia Beef Tenderloin.
