Guangzhou reports 1 local confirmed case in Huadu

On July 3, Guangdong reported 1 local confirmed case in Guangzhou.  Guangzhou's Huadu District detected a COVID-19 positive case during routine testing of staff at a quarantine hotel on July 2. According to the epidemiological investigation and laboratory test results, experts preliminarily determined that it was related to imported cases from abroad.

The case, male, 28 years old, is a staff member of a quarantine hotel. His testing result on June 30 was negative. On July 2, the individual was screened initially positive and confirmed by the Guangzhou CDC. He was diagnosed as a COVID-19 confirmed case (mild type).

The case has been transferred to the Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital under closed-loop management. And the nucleic acid test results of other staff in the hotel were all negative.

On July 3, Guangzhou CDC issued a reminder that visitors with a travel history to the following 8 places, and people with a "red code" or "yellow code" should report to their community/village, employer, and hotel, and cooperate with corresponding health management measures:

A negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours required to leave Shantou's Nan'ao county

According to a notice issued on July 3 by Shantou's Nan'ao COVID-19 Control and Prevention Command Center, starting from July 4, to leave Nan'ao by way of Nan'ao Bridge, residents need to hold a green Yuekang Code and a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours. 

Nan'ao has finished the second round of mass nucleic acid testing, and the results are all negative. Today (July 4), the county is conducting another round of testing.

Shenzhen's Meilin Subdistrict adjusts areas under COVID-19 control

Starting from 4 o'clock on June 27, Futian District has downgraded COVID-19 control in its Meilin Subdistrict (梅林街道).

1.The 7th building in the North Area of Meixingyuan (梅兴苑北区第7栋) has been adjusted from a lockdown to partial lockdown area. All personnel in this area will take nucleic acid testing once a day for the first 3 days.

2.Partial lockdown has been lifted in the North Area of Meixingyuan (except lockdown area). The original restricted area of Meilin Subdistrict has been adjusted to Xinxing Community (except Building 7 in Meixingyuan North District) and Shangmei Community (新兴社区(梅兴苑北区第7栋除外)、上梅社区).

All personnel should receive a nucleic acid test within 24 hours, and do not leave unless necessary. If they really need to leave due to work, school, or medical treatment, they must travel with a negative nucleic acid test result within 24 hours.

3.Restricted area: Meilin Subdistrict (except the Xinxing and Shangmei Community).
