GAC Toyota's self-produced NEVs make first Hong Kong export from Nansha FTZ

On November 13, 164 new "bZ3X" (known as "Bozhi 3X" in the Chinese mainland ) new energy vehicles (NEVs) manufactured by GAC Toyota were ready to depart for Hong Kong. This marks the first time GAC Toyota's self-produced NEVs have entered the global market.

Currently, there is significant demand for NEVs in the Hong Kong market, and the efficient supply of such vehicles is directly linked to improving the travel experience of Hong Kong residents and advancing the "carbon neutrality" goal. To this end, the Bureau of Commerce of Nansha District, Guangzhou Customs, and Nansha Automobile Port have joined forces to facilitate the implementation of "one-on-one" convenience services such as "advance declaration," "appointment-based customs clearance," and "inspection upon vessel arrival as personnel are ready."

At present, Nansha has built the largest automobile roll-on/roll-off hub port in South China. From January to October 2025, the number of vehicles exported through the Nansha Automobile Port exceeded 320,000, representing a year-on-year increase of 50%.

Meanwhile, the "Guangzhou-Hong Kong Automobile Export Express Line," established based on the export supervision warehouse at Nansha Automobile Port, has become a "golden channel" for mainland automobile enterprises to export vehicles to Hong Kong. So far, it has facilitated the export of over 600 NEVs.
