In Longgang, Shenzhen, there hides an ancient town with over 300 years of history, Gankeng Hakka Town.
Anton, a photographer based in Shenzhen who has been in China for 20 years, walked deep into the town on a weekend and used his camera to capture the charm of the town.
"It's an old village preserved and restored to its full glory, completely open to tourists. It's tiny, but complete with riverside houses, and pagodas with traditional style. I felt lost in time walking the narrow streets after only a subway ride from Shenzhen skyscrapers," Anton commented.
