According to Guangzhou Metro, a total of 20.25 million passenger trips have been recorded during the Dragon Boat Festival travel rush, with a daily average of 6.75 million.

About 6.9 million people travelled by Metro on Dragon Boat Festival. The previous day (June 2) witnessed a new high of the daily passenger flow in 2022, hitting around 9.5 million.
During the 3-day mini-break, Line 3 (including its northern extension) had 4.38 million passenger flow, the highest among all lines, while Line 2 saw the second-highest, reaching 2.65 million.
Moreover, out of all Metro stations, Tiyu Xilu Station took the highest passenger flow – 1.14 million, followed by Jiahewanggang Station with 890 thousand passenger trips.

During the period, Guangzhou-Qingyuan Intercity Railway and Guangzhou East Ring Intercity Railway carried 27 thousand passengers in total, with 12 thousand on June 5 as the highest. Tram Haizhu Line 1 had a total of 32 thousand passengers, with 13 thousand as the daily high.
