On July 28th, two criminal gangs in the city of Shanwei, which involved in smuggling and vicious power were busted by Guangdong police, according to Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department.

More than 120 suspected were arrested during the operation, including 6 heads of crime.
Guangdong police explained that the two gangs have been operating in Haifeng (a county in Shanwei) for more than 20 years. Over the past two decades, the gangs have committed a great number of crimes, such as smuggling, illegal detention and more, which result in extremely bad influence in local society.

According to Spokesperson of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, Guangdong police insists on fighting against various of crimes in recent years and will continue to launch a series of campaigns to create a safer and more stable society for people living in the province.
