Large “glass boxes” floating in the air? Castle in the sky?
The beautiful building is the twin tower on Liuxian Avenue in Nanshan district of Shenzhen.
It is the new headquarters for Shenzhen-based robotics company DJI. They are designed by Foster + Partners and inspired by a bird's-eye view of the world. The towers will house research and development spaces, alongside offices and public display areas, including a sky bridge that could be used to showcase the company's latest drone technology.
The building has been listed as one of the "top 10 most anticipated new buildings in the world to be completed in 2022".
