At the invitation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, a delegation of Olympic athletes from the Chinese mainland will arrive in Hong Kong on December 3 for a three-day event. Recently, the delegation officially announced a list of 29 athletes, all of whom have achieved good achievement at the Tokyo Olympics.

These members include 29 athletes who have achieved good results in the Tokyo Olympics and 3 coaches. These include Su Bingtian, Gong Lijiao, and Liu Shiying on the track and field team; Swimmers Yang Junxuan and Tang Muhan; Xie Siwei and Wang Zongyuan on the diving team; Gymnasts Hou Zhihui, Wang Zhouyu, Li Wenwen, Li Fabin, Chen Lijun, Shi Zhiyong and Lu Xiaojun; Liu Yang; Zhu Xueying from the trampoline team; Cui Xiaotong, Rowers Lu Yang, Zhang Ling, and Chen Yunxia; Xu Shixiao and Sun Mengya from the kayaking team; cyclist Angel Zhong; Sun Yiwen from the fencing team; table tennis players Ma Long and Xu Xin as well as Wang Yilu and Huang Dongping of the badminton team. Among them, Su Bingtian, Tang Muhan and Xie Sisi are athletes from Guangdong.

In addition, there are three coaches who have trained many outstanding athletes, swimming coach Wang Aimin, weightlifting coach Shao Guoqiang and rowing coach Zhang Xiuyun.

The delegation will participate in cultural performances, lectures, media meetings and other activities in Hong Kong, and they will communicate with Hong Kong youths.

At the Tokyo Olympics, the Chinese delegation ranked second on the medal list with 38 golds, 32 silvers and 18 bronzes. The Hong Kong delegation of China won 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze results, making their best record in Olympic history.
