An exhibition featuring well-known comic artist Jin Cheng's comic illustrations will be held at the Guangzhou Library from August 3rd to 19th, 2020.

Artworks on display are simple, stylish, mysterious and mainly in black-and-white. The first part of the exhibition contains Jin Cheng's works created over the past year, including lovely belles, kitties, puppies and birds.

In addition to these works, Jin Cheng's personal cartoon collection is another highlight of the exhibition with rare manuscripts of world-famous cartoons, such as Hayao Miyazaki's Totoro and Mickey Mouse.

During the exhibition, Jin Cheng will share his stories about comic creation and collection with audiences on site every weekend. Don't miss out.

The exhibition, entitled "Belles in Jin Cheng's Comic Books - Exhibition of Jin Cheng's Comic Selection 2020", is co-hosted by the Guangzhou Library and the Guangdong Contemporary Academy of Art, and organized by the Guangzhou Cartoonists Association.

Jin Cheng is the President of both Guangdong and Guangzhou Cartoonists Associations, the founder of Comicfans, a major comic magazine in China, and the China Animation & Comic Competition Golden Dragon Award, one of the most influential award ceremonies in the industry.

Jin also successfully promoted a large number of comic artists including Xia Da, Benjamin and Ji Di who are extremely famous and play important roles in boosting the development of original comic art in China.
