The Disney Gala Live in Concert held on December 12 selects nearly 20 classic soundtracks from 11 popular Disney animations produced over the past hundred years. Some of them originate from the movies Frozen, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast as well as Aladdin.

On December 19, renowned Chinese mezzo-soprano Hongni Wu, a winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and singer of the Royal Opera House, will hold her solo recital at the Guangzhou Opera House. During the concert, she will present the songs of two representative Romantic composers, namely Gustav Mahler from Austria and Richard Strauss from Germany. The pieces include Mahler's Lieder und Gesange, Des Knaben Wunderhorn and Lieder eines Fahrenden Geselle as well as eight vocal works by Richard Strauss.

On December 24 and 25, the Guangzhou Ballet will perform The Nutcracker, the most fairy-tale like ballet created by Russian composer Tchaikovsky. The Ballet has invited renowned South Korean choreography Byunghyun Yoo to integrate Chinese contemporary cityscape and culture into the original version of the piece.

From December 26 to 31, four world-acclaimed Chinese musicians, namely, Tan Dun, Jinlong Fang, Li Biao and Xu Zhong, will present five New Year-themed concerts in a variety of styles.

From December 31, 2021 to January 1, 2022, three percussionists will perform a parent-child concert entitled Over the Moon to celebrate the New Year's Eve with friends of all ages.

During the holiday of New Year's Day, Liaoning Ballet of China will present the world's 25th version of the Swan Lake, with famous dancers Ao Dingwen, Wang Zhanfeng and Zhang Haidong performing in starring roles.

On January 15, 2022, the China National Traditional Orchestra will bring a concert featuring a number of modern large-scale folk pieces, all of which are inspired by traditional music from various regions and ethnic groups in China.

On January 14 and 15, 2022, a Spanish painter will make full use of his imagination to perform an interactive multimedia animation play.
