While eating Danxia tribute mandarins in Shaoguan, you can also visit Mount Danxia, a scenic area called China's "Red Stone Park".

Situated in an intermountain basin, Mount Danxia is formed by multi-layered red sedimentary rocks of sandstone and conglomerate. It is named Danxia (means red rosy clouds) because it appears like multi-layer red rosy clouds. The mountain looks like a picturesque painting against the blue sky, white clouds, jade waters and green trees.
