In order to satisfy the intense transportation demands during the forthcoming 101st Canton Fair, Guangzhou GJ Tourism Vehicle Corp, Ltd officially launched the service of internet taxi reservatioins on April 9, 2007.  This is, coincidently, the fifth anniversary of the company's Practice of the Starred Scale Service.  Passengers can login into the company website ( www.gjlqjt.com) to submit their reservation information one day in advance. The customer service coordinator will contact the passenger via telephone within an hour to confirm the information.

This service is only available in the old city area. Citizens in the districts of Panyu, Huadu, Huangpu and Baiyun cannot use this service. There is no extra fee for the service, the fee will be just the same as for the traditional taxi service, that is the fee is the price shown on the taximeter plus the one yuan fuel surcharge.  The service is unavailable from 10 pm to 6 am.
