According to Shenzhen Radio Station, the Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection of the PRC yesterday (Aug 1st) officially added 6 more self-help passenger entry and exit channels for Hong Kong and Macao residents at Luohu station after a 5-day test run.

There are now 12 such self-help counters at Luohu Station. Some officials from the general station said, since the system opened on Jun 16, passengers have become more and more familiar with it, increasing the rate of flow from 8 seconds per person to around 5 seconds per person. Nearly 800 thousand entries have been made through the self-help entry points through July 30.
