Animal experts in Guangdong Province have decided to use a dead whale as Guangzhou zoo exhibit.
The body of the 8-metre-long and 4-ton whale was found floating near the coast of Wuchuan last week.
It is the first time local villagers have ever seen the dark blue mammal in person. Curious villagers flocked to the site to have their photos taken with the carcass, the Guangzhou Daily reports.
It took experts two or three days to embalm the animal.
