Construction on Guangzhou's railway passenger information center began yesterday (Dec. 29th). The center, a project launched by Guangzhou Yuexiu District government, will provide public phone and consulting services to the railway passengers.
It is expected the information center will begin service January 14th, 2006.
It will operate 30 telephone lines to serve passengers. In addition, the Yuexiu District Government will adopt 7 measures to enhance the traffic control and organization in Guangzhou's Liuhua district during the Spring Festival travel season.
