The civil aviation authority recently confirmed that the airport construction fee will be included in the airfare price and will not appear as a separate administrative charge. However, how to implement the change and the timetable are not certain yet. According to some information sources, the change will take effect from July 1. The airport construction fee will remain the same, i.e. 50 Yuan per passenger for domestic flight, and 90 Yuan for international or cross-border regional flights. Officials at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport said that they had not received any notice on the matter.
