Since Shenzhen became a special economic zone 20 years ago, aviation industry develops dramatically with the continuously increasing economic power. Opened in 1991, Shenzhen Airport is only 40-minutes' drive from the downtown area. Airport shuttle buses provide passengers with 24-hour service. The airport is affiliated with advanced facilities and complete functions. On average, over 80 flights fly to about 50 cities every day.
