Ferry link to HK airport
Latest Updated by 2003-09-17 14:44:06

FERRY services between Shenzhen's Shekou and Fuyong wharfs and Hong Kong's Chap Lap Kok International Airport began trial operations Tuesday.

Passengers from Shenzhen traveling to the Hong Kong airport will have immigration and customs formalities processed at the two departure points in Shenzhen. Inbound passengers will also go through customs and immigration in Shekou and Fuyong.

The new service will be officially in use by Sept. 29. It was designed to facilitate passengers traveling from Hong Kong to foreign countries.

There will be eight two-way shuttle services from Shekou and five from Fuyong, Bao'an District.

There is also a service from Humen in Dongguan.
