The Sanqingshan Hill (Shangrao city, Jiangxi province), sandwiched between Yushan and Dexing counties, boasts springs, waterfalls, pools, rocks and pines scattered all over it.
Its strange rock formations and vegetation rate are well-preserved in this natural wild forests.
Six towering pine trees among the 100 hectares of pines atop the Sanqingshan Hill create an enchanting sight. Scenic sights are the main attraction at the Sanqingshan Hill's South Hill and historic sights the main attraction at its North Hill.
The scenery is concentrated chiefly along the South Hill's Terraced Cloud Ridge, noted for its weird rocks. There are a variety of unusual life-like stones in this scenic spot. Winding stone paths, green bamboo forests, brooks and bridges can be found alongside the mountain scenery. Clouds and mist envelop Sanqingshan Hill to the extent that it has become known as the "home of clouds and mist.'' The atmosphere leaves visitors feeling refreshed and peaceful.
