The city of Shanghai has decided that 16-year olds will be taught how to use condoms at school.
This is the first time it has been included in the health education curriculum.
Students in Senior high Grade Three will also get more information about AIDS and practicing safe sex.
Experts say the move is necessary, and is the only way to prevent students getting their knowledge through negative channels.
