The 100th Canton Fair, also known as the Chinese Export Commodities Fair (CECF), the first exhibition to showcase Chinese products to the outside world, was inaugurated in Guangzhou on October 15, 2006. Chinese Wen Jiaobao announced, from the next session, this 50-year-old Fair will change its name to the Chinese import and Export Commodities Fair.
