Guangdong province has been reeling under the effect of typhoon-driven heavy rains this year. Typhoon "Chanchu", "Bilis", and "Prapiroon", have provoked the worse case of flood in 100 years. The government and people devoted in disaster relief, and a total of 66243 houses have been re-built by the end of year 2006.
