Wujing is a well-preserved ancient town with a history of 1691 years. Residential houses in the Town can be dated back from China's Jin Dynasty (265-420) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), featuring the building style of the Hakka people and China's ancient Zhongyuan or Central Plain area (comprising the middle and lower reaches of the Huanghe River). People in the Town still keep some unique customs and typical religious culture, bearing a high historical value.
