Guangdong reported no more new SARS cases in the 24 hours to 10 a.m. May 22. There were no new infections in the province in the past five days.
The number of SARS infections in Guangdong Province totaled 1513 as of 10 a.m. May 22, with 1423 recovered and 57 dead. There were now 33 confirmed SARS patients under treatment and 112 probable ones quarantined.
