Health Form for highway and waterway lifted
Latest Updated by 2003-07-24 15:47:46

Sources with Transportation Department of Guangdong province reveals yesterday ( July 23) that though a body-temperature check is still essential for inner and inter-provincial travelers, the health form for highway and waterway passengers has been lifted. But such a temperature-taking measure is still necessary to passengers heading for Hong Kong and Macao.

Passengers with temperature above 37.5C are not allowed to get on board, while those whose temperature surpass 38C will be transferred to the health department for further examination and treatment. In addition, special efforts are required to take on works of disinfection, epidemic reports and Stat. systems.
