There was no new confirmed case of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and no fatality in Hong Kong Thursday, according to the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority.
It was the 28th consecutive day the number of SARS cases was below five.
The number of patients who recovered and were discharged from hospital rose to 1,377, three of whom were discharged Thursday.
Meanwhile, temperature checks for all passengers at the airport,ports and border points continue to be implemented to watch for travelers displaying symptoms of SARS.
In addition, all incoming travelers are required to complete a health declaration.
All household contacts of confirmed or suspected SARS patients are still required to undergo home confinement for monitoring and treatment up to a maximum of 10 days.
