Health forms at train stations
Latest Updated by 2003-05-20 10:50:16

The Guangzhou Railway Company began to require passengers to fill in health forms before they get on trains yesterday at midnight. 980,000 Chinese forms and 10,000 English forms were used. Train stations have been installed with thermometers at each entrance and exit. Passengers whose temperatures are higher than 37.5 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to take trains. Each train also has portable thermometers. 4 suspects were arrested yesterday at train stations for selling health forms to passengers. The public security bureau told travelers that all the health forms are free and not to pay money to anyone.
