Three medical workers stand by newly delivered ambulances Monday. Six new ambulances, made by a Shenzhen firm, were delivered to Shenzhen's emergency medical center 45 days ahead of schedule. The city ordered 16 new ambulancesto ease the shortage of ambulances in the battle against SARS. The vehicles have been modified to reduce the risk of infection.
