A scientist of the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences demonstrates an anti-SARS remote-controlled robot June 11. The robot, equipped with a video camera, a wireless image-translation system and an ultrasonic infrared sensor, can make the rounds of the wards and deliver medicine and food to patients and carry medical instrument.
