Chinese mainland reports no new SARS cases and two deaths from the disease in the 24 hours to 10 a.m. (0200 GMT) on Thursday.
There were four suspected cases, one from Beijing, two from Guangdong, and one from Sichuan, according to the spokesman of the Health Ministry.
The death toll from the flu-like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome rose to 336. More than 5,300 people have been infected in China since the virus first appeared in the southern province of Guangdong in November.
