Guangdong SARS numbers

Guangdong province reported no new SARS cases during the 24 hours ending at 10 AM yesterday, said sources from the Guangdong Health Department. This is the fourth straight day that Guangdong reported no new cases. Four people were discharged from hospitals, and nine people were diagnosed as suspected SARS patients. No deaths were reported. There are a total of 1513 cases of SARS in Guangdong, with 1419 people recovered and 56 dead. The total number of suspected SARS patients has fallen to 130. Six cities in Guangdong are SARS-free, ten cities have not reported any new cases for more than 20 days and two cities have had no new cases for more than ten days.
