Hainan to promote PPRD cooperation with speciality
Hainan is to actively participate and promote the regional cooperation and development in PPRD with its own specialities in environment, industry and system, expresses Mr. Wei Liucheng, Governor of Hainan Province at the PPRD forum on Monday (June 1st).
Based on a developing policy of "building itself into a new and developing industrial province, a high-profit tropical agricultural base as well as a base of tropical holiday resort", he says, Hainan will especially promote cooperation in the following aspects:
1. Speeding up the exploitation and cooperation in the high-profit tropical agricultures to build itself into the "shopping basket" and "shop of flowers and fruits" for the PPRD region as well as the rim regions. 2. Establishing green brands as well as developing the stock breeding and fishery industries to build itself into a processing base of stock and fishery 3. Exploiting the tropical island tourism to build up a garden for the PPRD region 4. Encouraging the regroup of state-owned assets in the province to integrate the development of (Ganghang enterprises) 5. Exploiting and utilizing the rich oil gas resources to build itself into a new and developing "industrial park" 6. Further promoting its opening-up with the advantage of CEPA
Hainan Province, with its advantageous location and complementary relationship with other provinces and regions, is believed to have a bright future of cooperation in the PPRD region, he says at the end of his speech.
