Sichuan will open its market to other '9+2' members and the outside world so as to seek development, expresses Zhang Zhongwei, Governor of Sichuan Province, in his forum speech.

Zhang says, Sichuan is a province with abundant resources. In recent year, Sichuan focus on five aspects, say infrastructure construction, green project, adjustment of industrial structure, science and education as well as reform and opening up in implementing the western China development strategy.

The launching of 'Pan Pearl River Delta' regional cooperation will bring new opportunity to Sichuan for economic and social development and help Sichuan to establish a closer trade relationship with Hong Kong, Macao and other 8 mainland provinces/regions, says Zhang.

He manifests that Sichuan will enhance the exploitation of resource and open its markets in a bid to actively involve itself in international competition and cooperation together with other '9+2' members.
