Take Pan Pearl River Delta is a dragon, then Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao is its head, and Yunnan is the tail. With the leading of the head and the gearing up by the tail, can the dragon fly up in the sky. Such words are carried forward by Xu Rongkai, Governor of Yunnan Province, in his forum speech.
Yunnan is committed to serve as the bridge in regional and even international cooperation for it is located in the joint part of China, Southeast and south Asia, the areas together take up about half of the world's population. Yunnan is making every effort to build itself as an international thoroughfare connecting China with Southeast and south Asia.
Xu says, In Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation, Yunnan will boost the international cooperation between the PPRD and the Southeast and south Asia.
