Share resources and develop together

The "Pan-PRD" regional cooperation, in line with the two developing trends, say economic globalization and regional economic integration featuring resource share, is to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation of the east, middle and west of China in economy, as well as to promote the implementation of CEPA, says Mr. Zhou Bohua, Governor of Hunan Province at his forum speech.

Hunan has a long history of economic exchange with other provinces and regions, especially with Guangdong, HK and Macao. Hunan has long been the important base of agricultural product supply, industrial transfer, labor export as well as leisure tourism for the three regions, while the latter has become the source of Hunan's capital, technology and market experience since the opening-up of China.

Seeing into the future, Hunan will actively receive the economic radiation of and industrial transfer from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as speedup the integration with the three regions to promote the PPRD regional cooperation, which is to benefit all sides in the region, he says.

At the same time, Hunan will also be open to all sides in the region without any condition its most advantaged industry, most potential market and its enterprises with best performances.

It will also strengthen the cooperation in the exploitation of energy and construction of expressways, railways, special shipping lines and other basic facilities, etc. with other regions.
