Macao is the 8th trade partner of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Until 2003, around 275 Enterprises in the three forms of ventures from Macao had been set up in the region; investment and trade projects involving 0.29 billion US dollars had been contracted; about 0.25 billion US dollars belong to actually utilized foreign investment, accounting for 66%, 52%, and 45% of the total respectively.
