Two projects, 300 thousand engines in Nansha Toyota Base and 400 thousand tons zinc-plating board in Nansha steel base, will start Jan 15.
It is reported that three out of the four bases to be built in Nansha by Guangzhou government have been in construction. The two projects will complete in 2005. The local government has signed with China Shipbuilding Corporation to invest 4.5 billion yuan on constructing shipbuilding base on the north of Longxue island, which plan to accomplish in 2007. In addition, ARASOR Corporation will invest 1.7 billion USD on building a first class photoelectron research center and photoelectron accessories and module production base in Nansha.
These industrial bases, of which output hit 100 billion yuan, will catalyze the new economic increasing for Guangzhou.
